Katrin and Eelco visited the Orgatec 2006 in Koeln. This to see some of the trends and new products and materials in office design. It was a nice show, not too crowded. I liked the Vitra and Herman Miller stand and it was fun to play a bit with the 80K Euro Flipover solution of Polyvision. The design pavilion on the other side of the terrain was also worth a visit. Sofa’s with glowing hearts in there and interesting new seating solutions were presented. We are very busy with prototyping a new product for the office environment. This will in our opinion shake the industry as we combine service with physical products in a way that is quite new to the traditional players. We will keep you updated.

Roadtrip: interieur 06, kortrijk

For some necessary inspiration we headed over to Kortrijk. The first thing we noticed was the good ambiance. It was the first roadtrip trip with the entire team, more about our expansion soon.

It was clear that some trends, multifunctional spaces, are still growing, and that others are declining. The trend for sustainable living is also on the rise in interior landscaping, and we saw quite some proof of that.

Soon after the kortrijk roadtrip we also went to the orgatec in Köln, although it was bigger, and there was much more to see, it was not necessarily better.

We got a lot of inspiration so stay tuned for more news on our upcoming products.

take a look at the site of the biennale.
